The series is set in a small coastal town in the southwest of Ireland. The series “The South Westerlies” will tell about Kate’s lonely working mother, who was assigned to work undercover to get a project for a wind farm. She promotes the idea of generating energy from wind. But when she discovers that there is an oil pipeline planned for the same area, another battle begins. The situation is complicated when she meets the father of her teenage son.
