The series begins with Morgan inadvertently solving a murder case that the LAPD had been struggling with, leading to her official involvement with the Major Crimes Division. Throughout the season, Morgan helps solve various cases while also dealing with personal challenges, including the mystery of her missing ex, Roman, who disappeared 15 years ago. Will she succeed?
