Nobody Wants This is an American romantic comedy series that premiered on Netflix. Created by Erin Foster, the show stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an outspoken, agnostic sex and dating podcaster, and Adam Brody as Noah Roklov, an unconventional Jewish rabbi. The series explores their unlikely relationship and the challenges they face due to their vastly different backgrounds and beliefs. In Season 1, the story begins with Joanne meeting Noah at a party after another unsuccessful date. Despite their differences, they form a connection that leads to a complicated yet endearing romance. Throughout the season, they navigate their relationship while dealing with meddling families, cultural clashes, and personal insecurities. The season finale, “Bat Mitzvah Crashers,” features a significant turning point as Noah and Joanne confront questions about their future during Miriam’s Big Apple-themed bat mitzvah.
