Ross Poldark is an Englishman who returns to Cornwall after the War for Independence in America. The war is over and Ross is flying home like a bird, he hopes to live undisturbed and comfort life, but at home a soldier found a rude awakening. Poldark’s wife is engaged to his cousin, his father died a year ago, and the house, which he received after a father’s death is almost shattered. Everyone thought the soldier died on war, and unexpected resurrection of Ross doesn’t make anyone happy. The family drama unfolds, Poldark wants to return his wife Elizabeth and to repair a house but at this period Great Britain covered by a crisis. Does he break the course of the tragic events?
