Catherine Chandler is a smart, honest homicide detective. Catherine’s mother was murdered by two gunmen when she was a teenager. They wanted to kill Catherine too, but someone or something ? saved her. Time passed, and she is a strong police officer, which works with talented partner, Tess O’Malley. While investigating the murder, Catherine discovers that the doctor named Vincent Keller saved her many years ago. Vincent was in hiding for the past 10 years, guarding his secret: when he is angry, he turns into a terrifying beast, without the ability to cope with his superpower and heightened senses. Katherine agrees to defend him in return for any help he can provide for the disclosure of the murder of her mother. Thus begins a complex relationship between Catherine and Vincent, who is stronglyattached to each other, but understand that their relationship is extremely dangerous for both of them.
