In the center of detective story “Strangers” is the esteemed professor Jonah Murlay. A man is afraid of panic flying by airplanes and therefore refuses to move away from distant crossings. That’s why when the spouse was supposed to go on a long business trip, the hero did not show a desire to go with her. However, the wife knew about his fears and treated it with understanding. When terrible news reaches him that his beloved is dead, he gets courage and flies out to another city. There, Jonah is trying to get to the truth of his wife’s death, gradually begins to realize that the city is filled with lies and terrible secrets.
