The main character of the movie “A Private War” is the world-famous war correspondent Marie Colvin. She visited many hot spots of our planet and, despite all the horror she saw there, she was drawn there again and again. Kosovo, Chechnya, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka. In the last place the heroine lost her eyes and was forced to put on a black bandage. But even this did not stop Marie and now she is going to the most dangerous place on the planet – the besieged Syrian city of Homs.
