Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) and FBI Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) are completely different looks at the world. They have to join forces to clear the streets of the city of Battle Creek. Milton – cute, honest, nice, sometimes even a naive guy who has never been involved in dark stories. He was sent from Detroit to Battle Creek to open an office of the FBI. There he encounters with smart and tough cop Russ, who is used to achieve results within any cost. His team-mate Fontanel White (Kal Penn) have some doubts about Chamberlain. Their boss Guzevich (Janet McTeer) is resolute and coolly, and she is not going to give the FBI the glory of the liberators of the city! So who will bring peace in Battle Creek? Cynicism and deceit police who do not have powerful resources or naivety and gullibility agent having the support of federal office?
