The main character of the TV Show “Being Mary Jane” doesn’t get out of lots of problems. The mother is ill, one her brother is drug-addicted, the second one is a drug dealer, and the minor niece is pregnant with the second child. She is trying to solve all problems of all the relatives, her girlfriends and she herself rushes between two lovers, one of whom is married. She is a TV host, she is some kind of celebrity, but also at work there are difficult situations. The woman creates a part of all the problems to herself, but and it is her life. The series are very believable and honest. The main character is not able to control everything. There are no far-fetched happy — ends here.
