“Bodkin” is a black comedy thriller series that premiered on Netflix. Created by Jez Scharf, the series follows Gilbert Power, an American podcaster, who travels to the small Irish coastal town of Bodkin to investigate a cold case involving the disappearance of three people during a Samhain celebration several decades prior. Gilbert is joined by Dubheasa “Dove” Maloney, an Irish investigative journalist based in London, and Emmy Sizergh, an aspiring journalist. The team faces resistance from the locals, who are reluctant to discuss the mysterious disappearances. As they dig deeper, they uncover dark secrets and face various threats, including being chased and threatened by masked individuals.
