As for the story and the acting, it’s absolutely astonishing and mind-blowing! Freddie Highmore perfectly fits into the role of Norman Bates, he copied the look up Anthony Perkins, his gait, facial expressions, habits, clumsiness. As for Vera Farmiga, she always inimitable! True, many including me were Norma Bates slightly different, to me it seemed a “tyrant” and modern standards, though, and overbearing, but not to this extent.
