The central character, Tyrannis, is a mortal king and the son of a goddess. He works hard to keep order in Krapopolis, a city that often lives up to its chaotic reputation. Throughout the season, Tyrannis encounters numerous challenges, including managing his quirky family and the unpredictable residents of the city. His father, Shlub, is a Mantitaur (a mix of centaur and manticore) and an out-of-work artist. His mother, Deliria, is the Goddess of Self-Destruction and Questionable Choices, who was expelled from Mount Olympus for unknown reasons. His siblings, Stupendous, a half-cyclops demigoddess, and Hippocampus, a fish-like Atlantean inventor, also add to the city’s unpredictability. The season delves into themes of leadership, family relationships, and the balance between personal desires and the common good.
