The main characters of the series “Friday Night Dinner”, brothers Jonny and Adam, are more than twenty years old. They have a tradition of coming to their parents’ house every Friday for a family dinner. Adam and Jonny are already pretty fed up with such family gatherings. This weekly event annoys them, although they derive positive from it – at home they will always be deliciously fed. Nevertheless, in such meetings, there are more minuses than pluses, since the guys have to spend the entire Friday evening in the company of a slightly insane father and mother. Their parents are far from ideal. So, the father of the main characters prefers to drink ketchup from a bottle, mother does not miss a single episode of “Master Chef”, and grandmother constantly shows her new bikini.

The plot “In the Long Run” is focused on the Easmon family, who have been living in London for thirteen years. The main characters moved here from another country, but they were already able to get used to the realities of English life, becoming typical prim British. Everything changes when the head of the family’s brother comes to London. Who would have thought that there is a very tense relationship between men, and their hostility would result in something more serious and global than one might have initially imagined.
