Two children disappeared in the provincial town of Vinden. This event leaves its mark on the life of the whole town, but most of all on the fate of four families. It later turns out that these families are connected, and the connection goes through four generations. The main characters of the series “Dark” are Vinden High School student Jonas Kanwald, whose father committed suicide; policeman Ulrich Nielsen, who lost his brother Mads 33 years ago; Chief of Police Charlotte Doppler.
