The TV series shows the life of the inhabitants of a small island called St. Mary. A few years before, this area of wildlife belonged to France and Britain. Therefore, the population is mixed. On the island someone committed murder – the death of the British detective who helped local police. To investigate his death, Richard Poole comes from London. The inspector can not tolerate a tropical climate. He is ready to do anything to quickly finish the case and go back home. And the appointment of place in the limelight not have to wait long. Richard has to accept the fact that the island he had to spend a lot of time.
