Dramatic mini-series “Dirty John” is based on the investigation of the journalist Los Angeles Times. The focus is on the story of the relationship of fraudster John Meehan and Debra Newell. Once the main character gets acquainted on the Internet with a business lady and it promises him significant prospects. The woman told about herself in all details. Gallantry and courtesy of a new friend bribe, but members of the Newell family fiercely oppose the choice of Debra. Only then the woman will understand what troubles she will face. He skillfully manipulated the woman, kept her under control and even accepted violence and threats. Two years later, the protagonist was mortally wounded by the younger daughter of Debra.
