The focus is on a man named Geralt, who lived as a hermit, trying not to intersect with other residents of local lands. The hero trained daily to improve his skills and physical fitness. He knew that besides people in the world, there was a great danger from mystical monsters and creatures that could harm. The population of the kingdom did not believe in the existence of monsters, considering the witcher a crazy inventor. But when the monsters came to their house, they asked Geralt for help. He could fulfill their requests only for a fee. The Witcher directed all his strength to battle with the enemies of mankind, after which he disappeared without a trace.
