In general, production of furniture was his profession, but he has decided to use his natural talent and to become the psychologist. Time of action of series “White Gold” — the beginning of the 1980th. The main characters are the staff of sales department of one large company. But not those that sit at tables and make reports, and those that knock at the doors of inhabitants and try to persuade them to buy things absolutely not necessary to them. In fact, it is purely office situation comedy. Having told everything that is only possible about specifics of work in the first series, further the series concentrate on interoffice lives of the main characters. They are kidding one above another, sort out the relations, cheat on their wives, fool around and get into situations of different degree of nonsense.
In his first stand-up special, Hasan Minhaj weaves humorous and heartbreaking anecdotes to tell his life story as an Indian-American Muslim. Topics include racism, bullying and meeting the demanding expectations of his immigrant parents. It is a roller-coaster ride. Onstage, Minhaj is a charming, energetic comedian and an absorbing storyteller. Minhaj is one of the most authentic voices to come onto the storytelling scene in years.

This animated cartoon”Archer” looks on one breath and at all the eighth season doesn’t bother. The humour remained on former, very and very high level. Drawing still pleases with the quality and style. It is worth to play tribute to screenwriters of these series: to remove the eighth season as the first, changing both surroundings, and structure again, and even a temporary era is cool. In terms of the structure of the narrative there is before us a whole story-line. Here each subsequent series directly continues the ending of the previous ones. (more…)
