The plot of the upcoming TV show will be based on the Broadway play by Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple”. Matthew Perry, in addition to the leading role, will also be a co-wrote (with John Keenan of the “Losers”) and one of the executive producers of the project. Heroes of Simons original play are two guys sharing a living space. Matthew Perry will play a character named Oscar Madison – carefree scruff. And who will make him company and perform the role of Felix Unger, squeamish bore, which is clearly not happy with his neighbor, is still unknown. Interpretation of the play “The Odd Couple” have already taken place: in 1967 released the eponymous film with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, and after 30 years – a sequel with the same actors. Also, a serial embodiment of Neil Simon’s work was made in 1970 in the broadcast channel ABC and lasted for five seasons.

The series is based on Chef Eddie Huang’s memoir Fresh Off the Boat. It’s the 90s and 12-year-old hip-hop loving Eddie just moved to suburban Orlando with his family. Before this, his immigrant family settled easily into Washington DC’s Chinatown. But here, it is pure culture shock for them. Orlando doesn’t have a Chinatown… unless you count the Huang house. The popular kids at Eddie’s junior high school are impressed by his love of hip-hop, but banish him from their table when he opens up his ‘fragrant’ traditional Chinese lunch in the middle of the crowded cafeteria. It is almost as bad for his immigrant mother, Jessica, who has never seen the inside of a traditional American supermarket and can’t understand the fast-talking, rollerblading neighbor moms. Plus, the Florida humidity is a disaster for her hair. His immigrant dad, Louis is the complete opposite. He loves all things American and proudly embraces his patriotism with his Old West themed American steakhouse complete with wagon wheel tables. He’s determined to bring in more customers and make his restaurant a success so his family can prosper and be happy in this country. Eddie has to watch out for his 9-year-old brother Gary, the suck-up of the family, who is always ready to tell on his brothers every chance he gets. Through it all, they have each other’s backs and their American Dream.

A group of young people who are trying to arrange their personal life. However, the main characters are constantly fiasco on the love field. And no matter how hard they try to change their single status, they have nothing. All attempts ended a little bit strange as it should expected from the meeting. And at one point of this series of unsuccessful dating from the main characters just give up. Soon they all stop going on dates. From that moment on, they put an end to the relationship. But, fortunately, fate sends them crazy reveler Danny Beeman, who is a talented seducer. The guy decides to teach his new friends talent seduction. What will come of this?
