The professional career of the protagonist Hugh Knight did not work out. The man was a very promising and capable doctor, but something went wrong and now he is not considered such. Of course, the character was upset because he did not happen to succeed. The authorities did not arrange Hugh’s level of training. Now, from the big city, the man will have to go to the small settlement of Waihope, where he will spend some time being among the same low-skilled figures in the medical sphere. As it turned out, with Waihoup, the character connects much more than one could imagine. The man spent his childhood in these places. True, not everyone is happy that he returned.
