Dogs are similar to their attachment to the owners of the samurai and this plot builds a plot of this phantasmagoria, the action of which unfolds in the future, in Japan. A group of exiled dogs helps the boy. The cartoon “Isle of Dogs” is imbued with Japanese philosophy.
