“Child 44” is an American thriller featuring the USSR era. The plot of the film takes place during the Soviet period under Stalin’s regime. The main character is a dishonoured officer of the Soviet secret army – Leo Demidov. He investigates a series of children murders but his activity arouses suspicion in a paranoidal Soviet government.
