British drama “Mapp and Lucia” takes place in a small English town of Tilling in the summer of 1930. This is a screen adaptation consists of three parts, in general it mocks “snobbery and pretentiousness of the inhabitants of a small town.” The main character is Mrs. Emmeline Lucas, better known to friends as Lucia. She decides to relax on the countryside and that’s she moved to the charming town called Tilling. The BBC 1 tv show “Mapp and Lucia” is based on the novel of E.F. Bensona. Steve Pemberton has adopted her book to the tv series. Hilary Salmon and Lisa Osborne appears as an executive producers. Mapp and Lucia show gathered a lot of famous British actors.
