We flash forward three months to find Miles, Rachel and Aaron licking their wounds and lying low, aided by the town doctor, Gene Porter. Charlie sets off on a vision quest in the Plains Nation and a desperate Neville and Jason search the Georgian Refugee Camp for their beloved Julia. Though our heroes are scattered around the continent, one thing is clear: That harrowing trip to the Tower created some peculiar circumstances and altered the political landscape of the continent. Phil and Claire are trying to orchestrate a kid-free week by coordinating Luke’s camp with Haley’s beach trip and Alex’s volunteering excursion; Jay and Gloria are getting Manny ready for his first solo trip back to Colombia; and Mitch and Cam make it a summer to remember. Luke and Manny have their first day at high school, which proves to be harder for Phil and Gloria than for the boys. Elsewhere, Claire makes her big return to the workforce at Jay’s closet company and is a little rusty on her first day, and Cam starts a new substituting gig at the high school, leaving Mitch to try to juggle Lily’s first day of pre-school and a very important meeting at work. In the new season, the Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of Jason Siedel, an accountant for the state department, whose remains were found in a hotel air conditioning unit. When Booth finds his old army buddy and CIA agent, Danny Beck, clearing away evidence at the victim’s condo, he begins to realize that Siedel’s murder could yield more suspects than the team had anticipated. Booth also seeks out Aldo Clemens, his friend and an ex-priest from their military days together, to get advice on his relationship with Brennan, now that Pelant has put a wedge between them.
