The writer has released a unique series of bestsellers, based on the real stories of Jennifer Lee, a female midwife, who worked in a hospital in the fifties of the last century. The main character of stories and television adaptation arrived in London in the middle of the century to find work and shelter. She manages to settle in a small monastery of Nonnatus, where, together with other nuns, the woman began to heal people and provide help.
