People fight, survive, escape from the living dead, fight with them, scream in earnest, when a particularly nimble piece of rotting flesh grabs them by the leg. They also loot, picking up in abandoned houses and shops everything that can be useful in a world where there is no electricity, running water and you can not call the police to complain about zombie party members under the window. But the main thing is that people get to know themselves better, comrades in misfortune and in general the nature of man. In extreme conditions, they show their best and worst qualities, whether it be boundless self-sacrifice or transcendent meanness.

The company of friends in the movie “Beyond the Woods” decided to relax away from the city bustle in a small house in the forest. The idea seemed to everyone to be excellent and everyone liked the house. And of course no one thought and troubles. Suddenly, someone notices a funnel that appears from nowhere. The tornado moves quickly towards the resting company and sweeps everything in its path. The funnel became a kind of portal from which mystical creatures enter the forest.

The crew of the Royal Naval Expedition are sent to research in the Arctic in 1845. During the voyage both ships are in an ice trap. Not busy, how to get out of this situation, the crew members are amenable to panic and fear. But what they discover there, plunges everyone into a chilling horror. The action in the movie “Annihilation” takes place in our reality. Suddenly a strange glow appears in the forest area, which all devours and grows slowly. For 3 years, no one expedition has returned from there. The main heroine and 4 more women organize the next expedition. After they move to the zone of anomalies, adventures begin. Girls notice that everything around is alive and different, nature presses them on the psyche by their uniqueness and unlikeness to the natural world. The consequences of such reflection arise for each their own.

The events of the movie “A Cure for Wellness” unfold in one of the “wellness center” in Switzerland, where for fabulous money the old men have rest, including a high-ranking man, to whom the board of directors decided to take all the sins. To do this, he must be taken away from the center for several days, to sign necessary papers. For this purpose, the main character is sent there. That’s just no one wants to leave a warm place, and the main character will have to stay there for a “random” coincidence. But every day he begins to understand that the director of this center is clearly hiding something about both the diagnosis and the methods of treatment. The Earth is embraced by the global energy crisis, the geopolitical situation is strained to the limit, armed conflicts are ready to flare up around the world. Scientists of the whole planet join their efforts to avoid an imminent catastrophe. The international crew of the space station Cloverfield is conducting experiments to launch the hadronic collider, which can become an inexhaustible source of energy. Two years of hard work do not lead to positive results. And now, finally, the next testing of the accelerator is successful, the installation gives the necessary level of power. However, due to overloads, the cooling system breaks down. In a hurry, eliminating the consequences of the accident, the ship’s crew suddenly discovers that there is not the Earth anymore. Is the planet destroyed? Was Cloverfield thrown into another part of the galaxy? Did they fall into another dimension? One thing is clear: the space-time continuum has been violated.
