The serial “Colony” is about the theoretically possible occupation of the planet by extraterrestrial civilization. As a result of “Arrival” (the so-called the beginning of the occupation), zones for people living in cities have been formed, these zones are fenced by a huge wall and it is impossible to get out. Life is controlled by proteges of aliens – people who were able to get into power following the results of some sort of selection. We see the zeal of people in fulfilling the tasks of the occupiers from those who serve them, the hatred of the enslaved population, food problems, hunger and even the camp – the Factory from which it is impossible to return.

For many years, Europe has been attacked by a virus that turned people into zombie. When humanity in the movie “The Cured” was already desperate to find a way to control the epidemic, a medicine was found. However, cured people can not get rid of the burden of their “infected” past. The dream of creating a new society that would help reintegrate the infected has failed. Many of those who were cured were not taken back to their families, others suffer from the control framework imposed by the government. Feeling of fear, guilt and spite, together with the decision of the state to get rid of such people, leads to the emergence of a terrorist movement that plunges society back into chaos.

The population of the Earth became extinct. And not from the glaciers and the heat. It’s all about the appearance of some evil creatures that react to any sound. The main story of the movie “A Quiet Place” will be about the surviving family in such conditions. The family, in which there are many children, is expected to have another one. And infants, as you know, can not keep silent. How will our heroes cope with different foreseen and unforeseen situations? The movie is almost without sound. More precisely without talking. Heroes communicate with the help of gestures, walk barefoot, and do everything very quietly, otherwise do not survive.

In a relatively near future the virus destroyed the largest part of the world population. The survivors live in some ruins or forests, barely survive. And the virus is constantly mutating, and soon it will destroy everyone. But there are scientists among the people of the future who are trying to improve the situation. In the “12 monkeys” two different groups of scientists go in different ways. One group tries to find a vaccine against the virus, and another – to return to the past to prevent the spread of the virus. Each group needs a resource – some energy core, and this resource is exhausted.

The Republic of Gilead was once part of the United States, but as a result of the military coup the religious fundamentalists came to power and established a dictatorship in which everything is exclusively run by men, and the sole purpose of the woman is to give birth to a healthy child from her master, the Commander. However, because of the catastrophic ecological situation, many women have become infertile, and those few who are still able to endure a child are declared property of the state. They live in special camps, where they are trained to conceive and give birth to children for representatives of the privileged strata of the population. One of them is Offred, who is in the camp after an unsuccessful attempt to escape from Gilead. The series “Story of a Servant” is based on the novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood.
