In the hope of a normal life, a girl named Vignette Stonmoss moved from the country of fairies. However, soon after the move, the heroine realizes that she is unlikely to be able to name the town in which events are developing, her home. From the first seconds “The Rain” throws the viewer into the thick of events. Parents grab their children, a schoolgirl-graduate Simone and a very small Rasmus, put in a car and driven away from the approaching dark cloud in the sky. Rain is dangerous – in every drop a deadly virus is kept, killing any person who touched the water. By coincidence, the family gets into a bunker hidden in the forest. Father, without explaining anything, but promising to return, leaves, and his mother soon dies. The children remain alone and only after 6 years leave the shelter – towards the devastated Denmark, hoping to find their parent.

Netflix released the comic strip movie Polar: Came from the Cold, in which Mads Mikkelsen starred. The main character of the movie “Polar” has been working in the hired killers corporation for many years and is considered the best one. But all employees are forced to retire upon reaching 50 years of age and receive a cash bonus in proportion to their achievements. The only problem is that too many employees retired this year. This series does not connect the plots of their episodes with each other, however, it coincides with each issue for a certain holiday, which, despite a joyous date, turns into a real horror festival! Attentive viewers can draw parallels between the episodes, but the authors set themselves the task of showing that the horror genre is still alive, despite the fact that the popularity of the genre is falling.
