High Potential (season 1) is a crime drama series that follows Morgan Gillory, played by Kaitlin Olson, a single mom with an exceptional mind. Morgan works as a cleaning lady for the LAPD but ends up becoming an invaluable consultant due to her genius-level IQ and keen attention to detail. Her unconventional methods and quirky personality often clash with the by-the-books Detective Adam Karadec, played by Daniel Sunjata. The series begins with Morgan inadvertently solving a murder case that the LAPD had been struggling with, leading to her official involvement with the Major Crimes Division. Throughout the season, Morgan helps solve various cases while also dealing with personal challenges, including the mystery of her missing ex, Roman, who disappeared 15 years ago. Will she succeed?
