At the same time, the US space station Skylab crashes just beyond the city’s suburbs. The series follows three families in a tight-knit coastal community as they navigate these tumultuous events. Their marriages, friendships, and futures are put to the test as they deal with the chaos around them. The season is a blend of drama and comedy, capturing the essence of an era coming to an end and the personal struggles of those living through it.
