The movie “Last Flag Flying” is about three men of fifty, veterans of the war in Vietnam, whom fate again brought together in order to help their military comrade to bury the body of his son, who came from Baghdad to Washington. The end of 2002. Larry, Sal and Richard shoulder to shoulder 30 years ago running around the Vietnamese jungle, but the war is over, and now each of them is busy with their own business. The reason for the reunion of the restless company is the death of the son of his friend Larry, a twenty-one-year-old boy who went to war in Iraq. But the accidentally emerged story of death deprives him of the title of the hero who died in battle, and now Larry wants to bury his son in New Hampshire next to his mother’s grave.
