The plot of the movie “Bel Canto” unfolds somewhere in Latin America at the residence of the Vice-President a luxurious reception is arranged. Guests are going to listen to the famous opera singer Roxana Koss, but in fact the main star on this evening is not she, but the Japanese businessman Katsumi Hosokawa, whom the local authorities want to convince investing in their dysfunctional economy. This movie “The Darkest Minds” is about the unjustified cruelty of adults in relation to children who have suddenly appeared beyond their ability, of a completely different kind. Adults who felt threatened by miraculously surviving children, when mortality at that time hit precisely the most vulnerable segment of society, try to keep everything under their complete control. Because of fear, children are divided into different types of ability and danger. But there are those who are still on the side of more defenseless and already grown up teenagers.
