The series “Once Upon a Time” will tell about the difficult life of Emma Swan. But the girl always kept blows of fate. She, as usual, comes home alone and tries to celebrate her name-days. Suddenly, a boy of about ten is knocking at the door. This guy is Henry. He is the son of Emma. Once upon a time she was forced to abandon the child, because she was in an unenviable position and could hardly raise a child. It’s true Henry now comes to Emma not to start a family relationship, but to send her to Storybrook, a city where, according to the boy, fabulous characters who forget who they really are live. All this is the tricks of the evil Queen, who once imposed a terrible curse on the fairy world. Emma, of course, does not believe in the stories of the boy, thinking that he has a wild fantasy. However, the girl eventually begins to notice the oddities that are happening in Storybrook. She remains in the city and, even, becomes a sheriff.

Employees notice a huge number of tattoos on the girl’s body. Each of the tattoos indicates a specific date. Some dates have already passed, and some have only to come true. Unexpectedly, they find the connections between these dates. The past days are marked by major crimes or terrorist acts. On the body of the girl there are many more dates. Everyone needs to be checked. Kurt Weller is investigating these imperfect crimes.

The events of the series “Hard Sun” are developed in modern London. In the spotlight a couple of investigators, Hicks, and Renko. They are cardinally differ from each other in their characters and principles. Hicks is corrupt policeman, capable of crossing any line for his family, but Renko is an honest and principled woman who lives alone and does not like to be frank about her personal life. Because of her strong character, the girl has many enemies who try to get rid of her at any cost. Some of them even made a fire in her house, but Renko managed to escape and even harder to take on the capture of criminals. It is at this point that both heroes have a new case about the murder of a hacker, which they will have to investigate against the background of the coming Armagedon.
