Vikings (season 3)
10 episodes
Vikings is a historical drama created by Michael Hirst in 2013. It was inspired by the Norse tales about the legendary Viking Ragnar Lothbrok and his family. The main character is an adventurous, ambitious and brave man. In past he was a farmer who decided to leave his home to explore new lands and horizons. His wayward instincts done it to him. That’s how the adventure of Vikings started. The band of Vikings with the leader Ragnar travel through the seas and conquest the new territories. Ragnar seems to be a direct descendent of Odin, the God of War. He is young and powerful men. He doesn’t know yet that this adventure will reveal his true abilities and skills. The Vikings show grabbed your attention with the first series, and captured not an abundance of special effects, which are very, very few, not some crazy fantasy, which is also just barely, and its seriousness and some impartiality, or something. Have not seen such series to not tormented slowly unwinding storyline for half a spoon of series in the series, and showed so rapidly developing story. But the main merit is not in respect for the audience, namely the seriousness, the explicit expression of the fact that the show is aimed at a mature audience. Not necessary adults suit to the mature audience.
