Unlucky in love, a primary school teacher breaks up with her young man and moves into an apartment where her neighbors turn out to be three crazy single guys. Jessica Day is a cheerful, honest and vulnerable girl who trusts people when it’s better not to. The guys accept her more as a friend rather than a girl to have a romance with. Her new neighbors become three guys: Nick, Schmidt and Coach. And every one of them have their own special features. Nick is a realist who had some great plans for the future but dropped everything halfway and became a bartender. Schmidt thinks of himself as of the modern Casanova. Coach is a former athlete who became a personal trainer. Kicky is Jess’ best friend. She used to be an ugly duckling as a teenager but then she became prettier and turned into a model. Kicky has got that kind of elegance that Jess is lacking and that’s why they perfectly fit each other despite of their shortcomings. As the time passes the five friends realize that they need each other much more than they thought and all of them become a cute but strange family. The creators of this serial promised to show a “fresh view on the modern male-female relations”.
