The second season of Outer Range continues to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Abbott family and the enigmatic void on their Wyoming ranch. Royal Abbott, the time-traveling rancher, reveals the truth about himself and the west pasture to his wife, Cecilia. Together, they embark on a quest to find their missing granddaughter, Amy, and protect their land from the greedy Wayne Tillerson. As the season progresses, the story delves deeper into the consequences of time travel. Acting Sheriff Joy Hawk is transported to 1882, while Perry Abbott jumps back to 1984. Amy is taken by her mother, Rebecca, out of spite against Perry and the Abbotts. Rhett and Maria, who were planning to leave Wabang, stay behind after learning about Amy’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Billy Tillerson is left in critical condition after being shot by Royal. The season finale, “The End of Innocence,” sees a race against time as Royal and Cecilia try to retrieve Amy from her mother. Unfortunately, they arrive too late, and Autumn (revealed to be an older Amy) and Luke Tillerson abduct her, taking her back to the Abbott’s west pasture.
