The plot of the upcoming TV show will be based on the Broadway play by Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple”. Matthew Perry, in addition to the leading role, will also be a co-wrote (with John Keenan of the “Losers”) and one of the executive producers of the project. Heroes of Simons original play are two guys sharing a living space. Matthew Perry will play a character named Oscar Madison – carefree scruff. And who will make him company and perform the role of Felix Unger, squeamish bore, which is clearly not happy with his neighbor, is still unknown. Interpretation of the play “The Odd Couple” have already taken place: in 1967 released the eponymous film with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, and after 30 years – a sequel with the same actors.
