The plot of the TV series is based on a true story. Comedy about two friends and business partner Joe (David Krumholtz) and Louis (Michael Urie) (one of which is gay), whose friendship lasts longer than any of the novels, and almost seems like a strange marriage. When Joe decides to propose to his girlfriend Ali (Sophia Bush), Louis’s neurotic attempts to contribute to this, complicate the relationship between friends.
