This is a tragic story about Rosalie and Luke, whose son died tragically. Common grief did not unite the Douglas family, but rather caused tension in the relationship. Their daughter Maddie, too, suffers the loss of her brother. When Rosalie and Maddie meet one nice young man, he gives them hope for the future after a terrible tragedy. The guy recently lost his parents and can understand their condition. However, their relationship soon developed into something more sinister and immoral. Initially acting as a positive force, Jed eventually becomes a destroyer.
