The main character Rémi grew up without a family. At the age of ten, he fled from his adoptive mother and joined the wandering musician Signor Vitalis, with whom he wandered around the cities and gave performances in the squares. Their small company, consisting of an old musician, Rémi, a faithful dog and a little monkey, Jolie Coeur, traveled around France, finding new friends and adventures. “Rémi sans famille ” – a movie adaptation of the eponymous work of the French writer Hector Malo.
