The story “Superior Donuts” is based on the eponymous play of the same name. The protagonist – the old and grumpy owner of the cafe Arthur leading his business alone after the death of his wife, which occurred a few years ago, hires an assistant – a young and energetic artist Franco, in desperate need of earnings. He turned out to be a young, active who masterly adapts to the changing market conditions. The sitcom is built around the interaction of a large group of colorful characters – visitors to the donuts shop in Chicago. All these incredibly colorful characters perfectly cope with their task – to make the viewer laugh. This is a sitcom with great potential.
