“Underemployed” (Season 1) is an American comedy-drama television series created by Craig Wright. Sophia (Michelle Ang) wants to become a writer. Daphne (Sarah Habel) simply wants to be successful. As they navigate the harsh realities of post-college life, the group faces various challenges and struggles to achieve their goals while maintaining their friendships. The series explores themes of ambition, friendship, and the transition to adulthood, offering a humorous and heartfelt look at the ups and downs of young adulthood. The show balances humor and drama, capturing the uncertainties and pressures of early adulthood while highlighting the enduring bond among friends.
