Until I Kill You is a British true crime miniseries based on Delia Balmer’s autobiographical book Living with a Serial Killer. The series follows Delia Balmer, an agency nurse, who meets John Sweeney, a charming yet dangerous man, in a local pub. Their relationship quickly turns dark as Delia discovers John’s violent past and his confession to killing his ex-girlfriend. When Sweeney’s violent nature is finally exposed, Delia uses all her guile to escape with her life, but she is left in a critical condition. The police work to find Sweeney while Delia tries to rebuild her life. The series culminates in a courtroom drama where Delia must face Sweeney again to ensure his conviction, but the traumatic outcome of the trial has a profound effect on her life.
