In 1944 locals form Walmington-on-Sea, who due to different reasons are not off at the front, forming guarding troop to protect the platoon. They non-stop getting into some funny situations, but at same time they seriously have to deal with some private problems and German spy, transmitting right from their city. And when sexy, young and flirty journalist Rosa Winters came to cover the report, situation is getting only worse. And – more funny.
