“All the Light We Cannot See” (Season 1) — follows Marie-Laure LeBlanc, a blind French teenager who broadcasts readings of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea from her uncle’s attic in Nazi-occupied Saint-Malo during the final days of World War II. Meanwhile, Marie-Laure’s uncle Etienne struggles with PTSD, haunted by memories of the First World War. A mysterious artifact known as the Sea of Flames, believed to be cursed, becomes central to the unfolding drama. The Nazi officer tracking Marie-Laure is obsessed with finding the gem, believing it will cure his terminal illness. As Marie-Laure hides a priceless and dangerous gem smuggled from the Museum of Natural History, Werner is tasked with locating her broadcasts, unaware that their fates are intertwined. Haunted by their pasts and surrounded by destruction, both teens navigate a world torn apart by violence, ideology, and loss.
