The student society of the prestigious University of Amsterdam is replenished with freshmen. Among the newly arrived modest provincial Rosa. She is worried in advance that the shyness of character and descent from a poor family will prevent her from making new friends in the capital and getting into the student elite. In the hostel, she gets acquainted with her roommates and learns from them about the coolest and most exclusive of the Ares organizations operating at the university.
