For many years, FBI Special Agent Peter Burke investigates offenses “white collar”. One of his “regulars” – widely known in police and criminal circles and immensely charming swindler Neal Caffrey. Neal few years hiding from the police and the FBI. They caught him, and he escapes from prison. Eventually Caffrey decided to go for a deal: he offered help to Burke in exposing the catching crooks, who have so far managed to escape justice in exchange for relative freedom for themselves. After brief reflection, Peter agreed to cooperate and Caffrey released on bail, but on condition that he would wear transmitter on foot, allowing to monitor his movements, and use his criminal talent exclusively “for peaceful purposes” without breaking the law. Season two begins right after the events of the season finale of season one. Pete and Myka find that Artie has survived the explosion thanks to the Phoenix artifact which was slipped into his pocket by MacPherson during their struggle. Though the Phoenix saves Artie from the explosion, in exchange it causes Mrs. Frederic’s driver to die and to then explode with Mrs. Frederic barely surviving by jumping out of the car before the explosion. While still under MacPherson’s control, Leena locates another past Warehouse agent named H.G. Wells and reverses the bronzing process, freeing her to assist MacPherson in penetrating into the Escher Vault inside the Warehouse. Wells eventually turns on MacPherson and kills him after taking an artifact from the Vault. Mrs. Frederic realizes that Leena was the one stealing Artifacts from the Warehouse for MacPherson while under the control of the Pearl of Wisdom, and helps remove the artifact from Leena’s brain. U.S. Secret Service agents Myka Bering and Pete Lattimer saved the life of the president. The danger came from a certain artifact that was in the museum. After this incident, the mysterious senior official Mrs. Frederic transferred agents to another service – a top-secret “Warehouse 13.” Companions move from Washington to a desert area of South Dakota, where the territory of the giant warehouse stores the most strange artifacts , mysterious relics, weird objects and supernatural gifts that ever fell into the hands of the U.S. government. Each artifact is associated with a particular historical or mythological figure that it either created or owned them. Among other things, a repository of Lewis Carroll’s mirror, through which you can go into another world; Edgar Allan Poe’s pen, which makes it a real written; Marilyn Monroe comb, hair dye in bright blond.
