In one of the smallest towns of America, in Portlandia, many people are engaged in unnecessary and useless things and speak with pride about their strange achievements. Residents of Portlandia promote healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, organic food and develop the cult of ecology. Almost all ride bicycles and their lifestyle reminiscent of hippies. However, among all this chaos and disorder is centered the life of even more strange couple, around which, in principle, turns the whole story. But what may be even more strange and unconventional behavior of people?
Is the third Millennium. People want to travel in Space as easily as in other countries. Previously it was almost impossible, but now everything has changed. The creation of the first mechanical robots is needed in order to help people to visit the wide world of Space. These robots are called Cylons. But, as often happens, not all people are grateful, and not all appreciate what they are given. So once the battle begins the Cylons and humans. Long war ends with a victory for the people, and the two parties sign a peace Treaty, which is to the Cylons left Earth. Since that time, passes forty years.
