The plot of the animated series “Crossing Swords” unfolds in a conditional fantasy Middle Ages. The pious and naive rural boy Patrick (Nicholas Holt) dreams of becoming a royal knight, takes all possible steps for this and soon realizes his dream. True, it immediately becomes clear that the young man’s ideas about chivalry were too sublime and romantic. But how else if cruelty, tyranny and debauchery reign at the court.
