“Last Tango in Halifax» is a British romantic tv series, which tells the story about an elderly couple, who found thier happiness in their declining years. The plot turns around four best friends and pupils of elementary school: Eric Cartman, Kenny McCormick, Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh. They live in a small town South Park, which is located somewhere in Colorado. During all their life (20 seasons) they met so many different peoples, face some many stories and adventures that it’s hard even to list. The plot of the “Family Guy” show turns around an ordinary family, well, actually, not so usual for the first sight, if you assume the fact that a dog who periodically drinks and smokes cigars, as well as the owner of the animal – a kid who dreams to enslave the world – this is normal, then it is quite ordinary family. The plot turns around the Walsh family, who during the first seasons were the central characters. Couple Jim and Cindy moved with their two children – twins Brandon and Brenda – from northern Minnesota to a hot Beverly Hills, located in California. The family is experiencing a cultural shock. It is difficult for the children to adapt to a new life. They are surrounded by spoiled teenagers, sons and daughters of the rich and famous. Younger Walsh just fascinated by colorful life of a big city, but soon tough reality returns them to the ground. We see teenage life in a real colour, it reveals many topics of the day: the lack of attention; first sexual experience; date rape; early alcoholism; cheating on control; AIDS and teenage pregnancy; racial inequality; wealth and fame.
